About the clinic

Perth based since 1991

Welcome to Cannington Podiatry, where you'll get friendly, professional advice and treatment for a wide range of foot complaints. We have served the local community since 1991. The practice was originally on Albany Highway and moved to its current Pattie Street rooms in May 2001, where it has been ever since.

You see the same podiatrist each visit. No referral is necessary to come in.

The podiatrist

Meet Colin Griffin

I graduated from the Western Australian Institute of Technology in December 1981 and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Podiatry at Curtin University in 1991. I am a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, and I've spent more than thirty years caring for Cannington feet. I enjoy every part of podiatric practice, from straightforward foot care to the more puzzling cases that have not responded elsewhere.

Away from the clinic, I'm married with two grown boys, and I spend my time playing guitar, body boarding, fishing, and trying to grow vegetables at home.

How we work

We find the cause, not just the sore spot

Foot complaints are often frustrating because the source of the pain may sit some distance from where you feel it. We rely on methodical diagnosis to work out what is actually going on, then treat it with the right approach for you, which may include dry needling, joint mobilisation, structured stretching and strengthening, orthotics, or shockwave and laser therapy. Where a case needs surgery we will tell you honestly and refer you to the right specialist.
